David Chappell, a respected Silicon Valley technical guru has conducted a third-party technical analysis on Blue Prism enterprise RPA.
Since a primary goal of process automation is to lower costs, anybody looking at RPA needs to think hard about the total cost of ownership (TCO) of the RPA solutions they’re considering.
This white paper walks through the elements of RPA TCO. We’ll use Blue Prism as a concrete example throughout, but we’ll also compare Blue Prism’s TCO with that of another approach to RPA: Robotic Desktop Automation (RDA). The goal is first to provide a model for thinking about RPA TCO, then explain how and why Blue Prism TCO differs from the TCO of using RDA products.
