Blue Prism World Orlando has been packing out the Orange County Convention Center today, delivering some incredible automation insights and advice across both event halls.

The voices of automation experience

You can’t beat hearing from the voice of experience, and we’ve all learned a great deal today about the benefits and operational value of taking the right digital route.

Mitch Lowe, CEO of Movie Pass and co-founding executive of Netflix, opened our keynote sessions with some real hands-on observations of how digital technology can change the future path of a company – both big and small.

"During the course of these last 5-6 years, 1 company every single week became worth over a billion dollars that just a few years before started as an idea."

"If you’re disrupting an existing business, you are fighting huge incumbent players that should be leading the charge but are spending more time protecting their business."

"Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, innovation is hard and it comes with lots and lots of mistakes."

We also heard from Dave Moss, our CTO and co-founder, with his deep dive into the Blue Prism vision and our plans for the future path of connected-RPA:

"The next 12 months are going to be the most exciting yet for Blue Prism. We’re laser focused on helping everybody to Automate More. Automate Better. Automate Together. We’re developing and delivering more capabilities, more products than ever before as part of delivering on this Connected RPA vision. We’re trying to enable all of our customers to connect the digital entrepreneurs, the makers, the innovators with digital strategy to close that digital entrepreneur gap and allow all organizations to win again and again."

Many thanks, also, to our valued partners and customers, TD Bank Group, EY, Deloitte, and Avanade, for their first-hand experiences of how Blue Prism’s connected-RPA has increased the accuracy, productivity and flexibility of their operational processes.

The US Excellence in Enterprise Awards 2019

The Excellence in Enterprise Awards is our annual celebration of the organizations who are truly pushing the automation envelope. The awards will be announced at 3.30pm on the main stage – come down and help us congratulate our nominees and winners.

We’ll be presenting awards for the following categories:

  • Value Driver Excellence
  • ROM Excellence
  • Innovation Excellence
  • Rookie of the Year
  • Long-standing Innovation
  • People’s Choice

Check out the Blue Prism World Flickr stream for photos of our award winners, keynote speakers and all the action from Day One of the conference.

Time for a Blue Prism party

Once we’ve announced our award winners, we’ll be wrapping up Day One of the conference and inviting you down to our after-show party.

The Partner Village will be open for food, drink and some atmospheric live music from renowned DJ, Guy Preston and his musicians. Guy has supplied the sounds for a host of celebrity names, so he’ll be dropping the party tracks, while you network and share your Day One experiences.

We’ll see you bright and breezy tomorrow morning at 8am for coffee, breakfast and the start of our second (and final) day of Blue Prism World Orlando 2019.
