We’ve wrapped up our final session at Blue Prism World Tokyo 2019, and what an enlightening day of insights, advice and networking it’s been for everyone at The Westin Tokyo.
This was our very first Blue Prism World for the Asia-Pacific region, and it’s been amazing to see more than 1,000 attendees come through the doors to experience our keynotes, the Partner Village and the very latest in automation excellence.
The cream of thought leadership
Our events are always aimed at sharing the very latest thinking around robotic process automation (RPA) – and our Blue Prism World conferences help us take this to the next level.
Following 2019’s previous events in London and Orlando, Blue Prism World Tokyo is part of our ongoing series of international conferences. We’ve brought together Blue Prism partners, customers and our own RPA experts to create a forum where you can learn, network and delve deeply into the latest automation and digital enterprise solutions.
The Tokyo event kicked off with an introduction from Blue Prism CEO, Alastair Bathgate, with his viewpoint on connected-RPA and the part it plays in the next stage of our digital evolution.
Dave Moss, Blue Prism CTO, followed up with his plenary session, looking at the future path of the Blue Prism product and what we will be bringing to our valued customers. Mr. Moss highlighted how Blue Prism’s connected-RPA revitalizes business leaders' innovative entrepreneurship, promotes sustainable growth and helps to bring about the realization of true digital transformation for a growing number of forward-thinking organizations and businesses.
We also heard from Blue Prism partners and event sponsors, EY, Accenture, ABeam Consulting and Deloitte, with their deep-dive keynote presentations into the real-world application and benefits of connected-RPA for their clients.
Global customer stories that lead the way
We’re always keen to hear how Blue Prism’s automation benefits have helped our end customers. And the Tokyo event has been an exceptional forum for hearing hands-on RPA stories that highlight the global efficiencies and savings of a Blue Prism approach.
Mr Flavio Reis, Global Head of Process Digitalization at Telefónica, talked us through how their organization has implemented connected-RPA across their international operations, and the benefits it’s brought to critical business processes on their digital transformation journey.
We also heard from Mr. Alastair Robertson, Head of Continuous Improvement & Automation, Zurich Insurance. He told the inspiring story of the organization’s four-year journey into the world of RPA, including how to structure an RPA team, and what roles, skills and certifications are needed to elevate the speed and quality of the implementation.
The benefits of RPA for Japanese organizations
Automation is having a significant and revolutionary impact on business processes and productivity across the globe, but we were especially proud to hear about the specific impact of Blue Prism’s RPA tools for our Japanese-based customers.
At our Tokyo event, Mr. Masaru Koyama, General Manager, Enterprise Solutions Business Division, Nikon Systems Inc., was keen to emphasize the part that RPA has played in Nikon’s digital transformation process.
The stage was also graced by Ms. Yuko Takahashi, Director, General Administration Systems, IT Planning & Promotion Department, Japan Airlines Co. Ltd. Ms. Takahashi explained how their organization has implemented RPA across the business, helping to establish an RPA governance system in order to realize safety, security, and reliability.
