For the fourth year, Blue Prism’s Excellence in Connected-RPA Awards has celebrated our customer’s ground-breaking achievements with their Digital Workforce. This year we received over 185 entries across the globe, and with 24 awards making this year the biggest yet.

Today, we are proud to announce the winner of the highly coveted People’s Choice Award. This award was selected by you, the attendees of Blue Prism World Virtual. We asked attendees to review 12 of the highest scoring entries and vote for most impressive one.

And today we are delighted to reveal that the People’s Choice Award winner is… Telstra!

This brings Telstra’s Excellence in Connected-RPA Awards 2020 haul to THREE as they also walked away with a new category in this year’s award: The Blue Prism Pinnacle Award.

This Pinnacle Award is the highest honor given by Blue Prism and recognizes businesses whose Digital Workforce is shaping how it approaches assigning roles within the business, and how it competes and differentiates itself in the market.

We are very proud to announce that the other two Blue Prism Pinnacle Award 2020 winners are TD Bank and Telefonica.

You can learn more about the three Blue Prism Pinnacle Award 2020 winners below.

Asia, Pacific region: Telstra

Telstra set their sights high – simplify products, services, and operations, improve customer experience, and reduce its cost base – all while the industry is experiencing rapid change and innovation with 5G and IoT. Telstra’s Intelligent Automation Centre of Excellence delivered scale, consistency, and best practices utilizing the Robotic Operating Model, and effective change management strategies. Using a cloud-first, AWS strategy, their platform was established in 6-weeks and received the Telstra CIO award for Innovation Delivery. The enterprise-wide framework of best practices, structured and controlled, IT-enabled environment enabled the team to quickly identify quantifiable wastage and automation opportunities, heat mapped across the enterprise. Telstra’s digital workforce has given 75,000 hours back to the business through over 200 automated processes, and has enabled more than 200 human employees to be trained in RPA, creating new roles that unleashes their ability to have a greater impact on the business.

Americas region: TD Bank Group

TD Bank Group has embraced the future of work and created a program that is transformational and disruptive, at a true enterprise scale. Moving beyond automation, they have imbued their Digital Workers with intelligence through a combination of Blue Prism Technology Partners and other investments in AI. After training hundreds of digital workers, they are innovating in ways that are revolutionary in their field. The Digital Workforce is foundational to TD’s business continuity which was recently proven during these unprecedented work-from-home situations, their business was able to respond to sudden regulatory changes with intelligently enabled Blue Prism digital labor without delay. TD Bank Group has leveraged their Blue Prism Digital Workforce to set themselves apart from their competitors, deliver an improved experience for their customers and employees, and transform their 150 plus year old business into an agile digital competitor future proofed for tomorrow.

Europe, Middle East, and Africa region: Telefonica Spain

Telefonica Group, specifically Telefonica Spain, are symbolic of the new generation of digital businesses, yet they are nearly 100 years old. This was not by accident, in July of 2019 the executives set a public goal to achieve savings of 1B Euros through their Digital Transformation program focusing on their contact centers operations for both B2B and B2C segments. The end-end solution leverages Blue Prism's connected-RPA as the "oxygen" to create a front-to-back office solution that uses TrustPortal, machine learning, and integrations with more than 30 technologies. Suspected to be one of the largest digital workforces in the world, Telefonica employs nearly 2000 intelligent digital workers who complete many tasks on their own enabling the agent to focus on higher value work.
