Blue Prism has identified the US at the #1 priority market for growth. As such, we are building out a strong management team and accelerating our focus in the Americas, and particularly in the United States.

Blue Prism began building the US team approximately 4 years ago, and the sales team (Sales, Presales, and Partner Management) has grown to approximately 100 headcount. The company plans to double that number in the next 12-18 months.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • You have strong consultative sales skills and will also have strong collaborative skills (working closely with other Blue Prism departments).
  • You are entrepreneurial and, at the same time, very process-oriented.
  • This is a key role at the intersection of Marketing and Sales so the ability to thrive in a matrixed organization is critical.
  • You can work in our NYC office on a regular basis, *please note, we are unable to offer relocation for this role

Your Experience:

  • At least 2-4 years in a Sales role and previous BDR experience in a fast-growing organization with previous experience selling enterprise grade (Cloud, AI and ML) software being highly preferred
  • You are collaborative with BDRs and Marketing in executing and following up on Marketing campaigns
  • You have a history of consistently beat your (bookings) quota targets
  • You are operationally rigorous, enjoy working in a metrics driven organization and flourish in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • You have a keen ability to advance sales opportunities over the phone and with compelling email messages
  • You already know how to work with partners and resellers from previous experience. You have run complex sales cycles with multiple internal and external collaborators, and partners.
  • You are not afraid to challenge the status quo when necessary. You are excited to experiment, measure, get creative and iterate

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will assist in establishing and implementing best practices, an inside sales cadence, and the cultural underpinnings of a tight-knit teamwork between Marketing and Sales within Blue Prism.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand complex, and solution oriented, customer needs and requirements and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate partners for further development and closure
  • Follow our established Blue Prism qualification process and workflow for inbound leads and ensure the smooth acceptance of all leads and prospects from BDR’s to inside sales
  • Run all your sales cycles from end-to-end and close deals with partners, leading to consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly quotas
  • Own, track and report on your activities, pipeline, forecast, and performance against quota using the Blue Prism sales tools
  • You will deliver effective online meetings, presentations and potentially demos, using a variety of tools such as PowerPoint and WebEx
  • Aggressively identify and launch initiatives that drive new business growth and operational excellence within your team
  • Lead from the front in building a culture and eventually a feeder system, geared to promoting from within, as we rapidly scale the sales organization in North America
