The Business Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that Cloud Operations’ processes and procedures are efficient, consistent and documented. The Business Analyst will be joining a growing Security and Compliance team which is part of Cloud Operations and will be working with Azure Engineers, Support Managers, Solution Consultants and Customer Success Managers. A self-starter who enjoys learning continuously and working autonomously, driving and prioritising their own work to deliver against a clear set of agreed objectives.


  • Review and understand existing processes and procedures and provide improvement solutions.
  • Investigate operational needs or problems and assist in the recommendation of service improvement and business solutions.
  • Identify, assess and evaluate processes against business needs.
  • Creating consistent processes in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Provide weekly status reports for findings and proposed solutions.
  • Author and update internal documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
  • Establish plans and manage their delivery to ensure deficiencies are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the implementation of new processes and procedures.
  • Record improvement opportunities, non-compliance with internal policies and industry standards
  • Assist with accurately completing applications for compliance certifications and reviewing customer questionnaires.
  • Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new processes, technology or strategies.


  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst in a related field
  • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analysis, process mapping and presentation skills.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to apply appropriate judgement and initiative.
  • Pragmatic problem solving and ability to work in a global environment.
  • Professional qualification (CBAP or equivalent) desirable.
  • Interest in cyber security, information security or compliance would be advantageous.
