We are seeking an experienced and professional individual to join our development team with primary responsibility for designing and implementing enhancements and fixes to our market-leading application.

We are looking for an ambitious high-achiever who strives for technical excellence from yourself and the team. Your key skill will be delivery of high quality product increments on premise and in the cloud using best practice agile techniques, and will have experience of object-oriented development, unit testing, clean coding, etc. You will be able to balance your passion for technology with commercial awareness and be able to communicate with business stakeholders in a professional manner. You will coach and mentor team members in various coding methodologies, patterns & practices, testing practices, and tools that complement the software development process. You should be a self-starter who finds solutions and is easily able to adapt to new technologies. You will visit on and nearshore teams to drive a high staff retention through social and engaging activities, and you will have delivery management and remote team budget responsibilities. Also, qualification to degree level in a computer-related (or applicable) is prefered.
In this role you will drive a collaborative working relationship between local and remote team members through KPIs. You will make system design and decisions on current generation and green-field projects, involving and collaborating with the rest of the development team. You will be required to develop application architecture that is scalable, reliable, available and manageable, and work with the Development Manager and the team to consistently move the software development process forward in terms of agility. When in a sprint team, you will work closely alongside product owners, developers, QA, etc. to ensure epics/user stories are delivered to high quality and pragmatically. You will research and validate emerging technologies for suitability against technology ecosystesm, and highlight requirements for Development Team infrastructure and tooling. You will promote opportunities for process and working practice improvements, and work hand-in-hand with other Blue Prism development teams to promote joined-up thinking and a #oneblueprism mindset.
