  • You can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • CA (Singapore) ideally with at least 4 years of commercial or combination of both audit and commercial experience, preferably you should have some experience dealing with the APAC region
  • You exhibit strong written and oral communication skills (English and Chinese) and can influence across the organisation.
  • You exhibit potential in developing and presenting business plans, models, and financial forecasts to management.
  • You are diligent and an eye for details and strive for accuracy and operational excellence
  • You are adept at improving processes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of the monthly management accounts
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial and tax reporting requirements
  • Drive and coordinate capital employed/working capital management of the APAC region including rolling 3-year cash flow forecasts.
  • The role will also provide support in aspects of FP&A in respect of APAC whilst the business embarks on its growth plans.
  • Support finance operations as required including opening bank accounts and general day to day ad hoc finance matters.
  • Track and improve benchmarks and reports for measuring the financial and operating performance
  • Partnering with the finance shared service centre in the UK and ensure accuracy of financial reports and liaising with outsourced accounting and company management business.
  • Prepare financial analysis for commercial contract negotiations and contract decisions.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese – written and spoken.
  • IFRS experience, particularly for licence term agreements and commission plans
  • Provide support in the production of timely and accurate quarterly forecasts covering P&L, Balance Sheets and Cash flow for the countries and region
  • Prepare and collate inputs for monthly executive review and quarterly geographic reviews
  • Ad hoc analysis and provision of financial advice as required to support decision-making and monitoring of financial performance
  • Understanding of automated financial and accounting reporting systems and business processes
  • Strong business partnering skills across the following countries Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, India, China and Australia.
