We are seeking a self-starting experienced HR Generalist to support business growth in the America’s based at our Austin office. The successful candidate will have exceptional people and communication skills, a strong human resources background, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate the day-to-day operations of geographically distributed Americas’ Human Resources team, take on projects and initiatives both domestically and globally, and focus on the development and administration of policy and process. Your role will be in support of the Head of HR & HRBPs in the Americas team helping to implement change whilst bringing consistency in a fast-paced growing business.

Your Experience

  • Proven track record as an HR Generalist, with at least 3 years of experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong Communication Skills: Superior written and oral communication skills; ability to present information and influence decisions; comfort working with people from diverse backgrounds and at all levels within the organization
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinking and project management skills
  • Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment; flexible in response to changing employee needs; maintain professionalism and composure under pressure
  • Organizational Skills: Extremely organized; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; meticulous attention to detail
  • Regulatory/Compliance: In-depth knowledge of federal and Multi-State Employment laws
  • California Employment Experience
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with UltiPro and Workday HRIS strongly preferred
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit across teams regardless of geographical boundaries
  • Hands-on individual, solutions-based approach to solving HR issues
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel to remote offices across the US and Canada

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as a first port of call and liaison between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies and practices.
  • Collect and analyze HR data and make recommendations to management.
  • Administer employee compensation, training and benefit programs in line with SME’s for those functions.
  • Flexibility to work on special projects that fall in any of the following areas: Benefits, Training and Development, HRIS, Recruitment, Compliance, Employee Relations and Engagement
  • Manage on-boarding, off-boarding, terminations, exit interviews, and prepare related documentation and communications
  • Coordinate on semi-monthly new hire orientations, including communicating the full employment packages and managing new hire paperwork
  • Regularly manage new hire pipeline activity by partnering with our internal recruitment team, and proactively share data-centric updates with stakeholders
  • Assist with the management of the full employee lifecycle, including performance management, employee relations, and day-to-day occurrences
  • Work with Finance on payroll additions and changes, and processing departmental expenses
  • Facilitate the expansion of the Americas by assisting with project goals and outcomes, timelines and deliverables
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • HRIS UltiPro guru, maintaining data integrity, optimizing utilization.
