IT Cloud Engineer

Blue Prism is an international independent software vendor based in the north west of England, and is rapidly expanding globally with offices in London, New York, Sydney, Austin and Miami. To support our expansion, Blue Prism are seeking a junior Cloud Engineer to work within the IT Cloud team providing cloud infrastructure support to colleagues within the IT Team. The role will cover a range of responsibilities around providing support to Blue Prism colleagues remotely from our Warrington office to locations globally. There will be some requirements to work outside of normal working hours as required by the business. We will be looking for someone who is bright, enthusiastic, has a passion for learning new things, and above all is a great people person, over the phone and in person. The role will allow you an insight into the design, development and support of Blue Prism’s cloud-based infrastructure and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding for the existing technologies in use throughout the department and apply that knowledge & experience when identifying new solutions to lead and develop best practices for Cloud team.
• Use your Cloud knowledge to offer support and help to other members of the team including support escalations from across the business.
• Attend project management meetings and work closely with internal Project Managers to deliver solutions on-time and on-spec.
• Attend meetings with the business to connect with existing or new cloud-based systems and solutions.
• Manage and maintain the document library for existing solutions and regularly update with new ones.
