About the Role

Blue Prism is seeking a talented Senior Director of Americas Marketing who will be responsible for successfully leading the company’s field marketing organization for the Americas. The Americas Region is a significant market for the business and requires a dynamic Marketing leader to take ownership of driving pipeline across the region – Canada, LATAM and North America. Reporting to the SVP of Global Field Marketing and Global Demand, he/she will lead a team of high-performance marketers and play a critical role in the leadership of the business.

This leader will leverage his/her business acumen, technology expertise, and strategic marketing skills to build and manage a team that will support the growth objectives of our Americas revenue teams while expanding our market presence, driving adoption and usage of our products and services and improving customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention.

This role requires an individual with strong leadership, stakeholder management and entrepreneurial skills who can evangelize a transformative vision for the company while driving demand and delivering a healthy pipeline. The successful candidate will be an exceptionally strong and creative field marketing professional, adept at rigorously managing the pipeline and will be steeped in digital and social marketing practices. This Leader must be driven and nimble enough to work in a rapidly changing industry, influence others, lead a team, understand data and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Lead and own the creation and execution of a go-to-market marketing plan for direct and partner/channel sales
  • Define the targeted campaigns for the region and drive focused execution including promotional strategies and plans that drive growth and retention
  • Analyze the sales cycle, channel mix and customer segmentation to formulate ideas and approaches to optimize the selling process across different customer segments and personas.
  • Drive the creation and implementation of a robust go-to-market marketing plan to drive revenue, retention and brand awareness
  • Build regional marketing programs that are scalable and repeatable in support of rapid growth
  • Manage, develop and coach a high-performing field marketing team
  • Develop the annual Americas field marketing plan for the company.
  • Translate strategic marketing plan into actionable quarterly targets, goals, initiatives and metrics
  • Introduce new marketing ideas, channels and tactics to help scale the business
  • Align marketing plan and execution with unique geographic market needs
  • Execute offline and online event strategy that meet corporate and field objectives e.g. leads to Sales, awareness, advance major accounts, Industry/trade/User group, company and partner events
  • Oversee all aspects of planning for all field campaigns and events, from concept and planning, through execution and follow-up
  • Working to ensure successful lead capture/nurture and handoff to sales teams
  • Maintain a 90-day rolling calendar of integrated activities including webinars, marketing campaigns and other programs
  • Arm sales teams with tailored templates, emails, copy and presentation support to leverage in customer outreach and engagement
  • Work with business development and sales teams to create and execute both strategic and tactical campaigns such as call downs, email blasts etc. Align with product marketing team to ensure consistent branding and messaging, as well as differentiated offers based on buyer personas

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of proven work experience in B2B or SaaS companies
  • 5+ years in leadership role
  • BA/BS required
  • Deep experience leading a regional field marketing organization at scale
  • Ability to excel at creating marketing strategy and vision and seeing it through to successful execution
  • Thrives operating in both left-brain and right-brain mode – ability to easily distill highly technical concepts into marketing messaging, vehicles and campaigns that are accessible, easily understood and creative
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue through highly effective marketing and measured accountable results
  • Exceptional leadership skills and proven ability to attract, develop and coach rock-star talent
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (internal and external)
  • Steeped in digital and social marketing practices
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across multiple departments and functions
  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo required
  • Highly proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • High-energy, low ego, optimistic, proactive, reliable, hard-working and trustworthy
  • Strategic, creative and disciplined individual who enjoys having a strong role in the development of strategy while being able to execute consistently
