We are seeking a self-starting experienced HR Generalist to support business growth in the APAC region. The successful candidate will have exceptional people and communication skills, a strong human resources background, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate the day-to-day operations of a geographically distributed APAC Human Resources team, take on projects and initiatives both regionally and globally, and focus on the development and administration of policy and programs. Your role will be in support of the Head of HR & HRBPs in the APAC team to help implement change whilst bringing consistency in a fast-paced growing business. Some travel across the region will be required.

Your Experience:

  • Proven track record as an HR Generalist, with 5+ years experience
  • BA/BS degree & PHR, CIPD, or SHRM-CP certification preferred, combined with a strong EQ
  • Strong Communication Skills: adept at building relationships with employees and managers at various levels; ability to present information to influence decisions
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinking and project management skills
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment; flexible in response to changing employee needs; maintain professionalism and composure under pressure
  • Organizational Skills: Extremely organized; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; meticulous attention to detail
  • Regulatory/Compliance: In-depth knowledge of statutory & compliance requirements across the region (Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Australia, Japan, China)
  • Experience with managing data in an HRIS; UltiPro and Workday HRIS is advantageous
  • A keen intuition on designing solutions that contribute towards promoting a stronger employee experience
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit across teams regardless of geographical boundaries
  • Hands-on individual, solutions-based approach to solving HR issues
  • Ability to travel to offices across the region with short notice


Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line coaching and support to employees and leaders on a variety of topics across the employee journey, including onboarding, rewards, development, employee relations, policy, performance management, and employment law. Proactively acquire the information and resources needed to successfully manage each question or issue, with a focus on positive employee experience
  • Provide employee relations advice and resolutions in a professional and confidential manner
  • Oversee on-boarding, off-boarding, and employment change processes; prepare related documentation and communications. Lead semi-monthly new hire orientation weeks.
  • Administer employee C&B, learning, mobility, and talent acquisition programs in partnership with HRBPs and the centers of excellence
  • Diagnose talent and culture challenges, pitch and employ creative problem solving, and ensure comprehensive communications and follow-through
  • Support in development and implementation of people-centered policies
  • Actively collaborate with global team members to work on special projects
  • Liaise with Finance on payroll additions and changes
  • HRIS UltiPro guru, maintaining data integrity, optimizing utilization
