Blue Prism is hiring for a Senior Manager, HR Technology. This role will be responsible for building and leading on HR Technology and will be a key player in our HR transformation. You will manage HR technology operational activities and projects, as well as being a business owner for all Global HR technology systems and platforms. You will partner closely with the Global Director of HR Ops & Tech, Operations team, People Team, CofE, IT and external vendors to develop and deliver technology solutions that allow HR to achieve their strategy. This role will be the primary point of contact for all business clients when developing new solutions or maintaining existing ones in platforms like our HRIS, ATS, performance management, compliance training, and survey tools. You will deliver the roadmap to bring the HR vision to life. The candidate in this role will be responsible for all HR Technology programs and projects that are part of the roadmap. To be successful you will have a keen focus on optimization of technology, process improvement, automation, and attention to detail in analytic and technology process variance, as well as, a creative mentality for taking advantage of unique opportunities as they arise. You will partner with various functional areas to provide HR system delivery, administration and support.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Create a strategy for the HR Technology platforms in order to optimize their use toward the strategic goals of the People team and the broader business.
  • Responsible for development and enhancement of the HCM solution (UltiPro), including Onboarding, US Benefits, Compensation Planning, etc
  • Be hands on and lead the administration of HR technologies
  • Help prioritize HR Tech and automation roadmap based on complexity and business value
  • Establish and implement product strategy for HR technology landscape (i.e. maintenance, support and operational roadmap).
  • Be responsible for end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management.
  • Create strong business partnerships with the People teams and deliver a high level of delivery execution, consultation and education.
  • Gather requirements by engaging broadly with the People team and business users to understand opportunities and pain points; analyze platform metrics; collect feedback and put forward proposals to HRLT
  • Monitor reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.
  • Set security strategy and ensure accurate security role permissions are maintained.
  • Stay informed of current data and system requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Utilize best practice methodologies (i.e. Project Management).
  • Work to identify and execute HR Technology improvement opportunities balancing both end-user experience and the operation’s needs.
  • Build and manage ongoing support process to assist operations when HR Technology does not work.
  • Responsible for reviewing, implementing and enhancing system workflows striving for automation across our systems, and manager and employee self service.
  • Own the data architecture, workflow configuration, modules configuration as well as all interfaces and data flows.
  • Responsibility for data integrity, making sure that data is clean, accurate and up to date and working with those responsible for data entry to ensure the quality
  • Ensure the timely and accurate development, streamlining and delivery of data and reporting to support the business needs working closely with wider global teams.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of management experience of HR Technology platforms.
  • Strong experience with UltiPro HCM and deep HR technology expertise across multiple systems
  • Experience managing mid-to-large scale implementations and enhancements.
  • Experience managing teams or global HR Technology projects
  • The ability to contribute individually and in a leadership capacity to the technical and managerial challenges associated with maintenance and optimization of our HR technology platforms.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement and integrate new systems, tools and technologies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of domestic and international HR processes and requirements working with the wider People team.
  • Understanding global process and local nuances and where they can and cannot be supported- suggesting alternative solutions or approaches
  • Proven HR system implementation and process enhancement experience, as well as automation experience
  • Experience in human resource management processes and systems, and an understanding of service delivery models.
  • Experience balancing immediate and short-term needs and delivering results.
  • Strong project management and methodologies experience.
  • Experience leading projects and teams indirectly
