What You Will Do:

We are adding an experienced Senior Consultant to support our rapidly growing Professional Services team. Within our PS team you will primarily listen to our customers and understand what they are missing and need from us to fully integrate their Digital Workforce. You will work with both Partners and Customers to create and expand their enterprise class IA capabilities by giving advice, quality assurance and mentorship on their IA project initiatives. PS is critical to Blue Prism in expanding our customer base as well as expanding within our existing customer base. The PS team is spread throughout the country, but we pride ourselves with our diversity, knowledge sharing and teamwork. In this role you will:

  • Regularly listen to customers to architect, create, and implement solutions for them using Blue Prism and other Connected-IA technologies
  • Configure and document new Blue Prism solutions using core workflow principles that are efficient, well-structured, maintainable, reusable, and easy to understand
  • Be responsible for advising customers on the full lifecycle of a digital solution from requirements to deployment i.e., requirements analysis, platform selection, solution architecture, technical design, application design and development, testing, and deployment
  • Lead project phases and/or through the full automation lifecycle
  • Listen to customers to understand their needs and create a scope of work outlining how we can help them
  • Comprehensively define, design, and manage solution architecture
  • Anticipate, identify, and track technical issues and risks affecting delivery
  • Provide mentorship and share knowledge of the Blue Prism digital workforce solution and associated delivery methodology to support customers and partners through all phases of the Blue Prism automation lifecycle and Certification Program
  • Evaluate customers IA capabilities and technical infrastructures in comparison to Blue Prism standards using proven internal Assessments
  • Identify and analyze business processes and their suitability for automation, providing delivery estimates
  • Support customer and partner Operational Teams during their implementation of Blue Prism and the seven foundations of the Robotic Operating Model™
  • If you are from a more technical background you will be given the opportunity to also provide a technical lead role when enabling our customers and partners.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • You have experience using Blue Prism and one or more Blue Prism certifications (Developer and Solution Designer Certification highly preferred).
  • You can work on several projects at once and are able to listen to customers with the goal of understanding where they are on their automation journey, what issues or roadblocks they are facing and are able to put a plan together that will provide the customer with outcomes that help achieve their goal.
  • You create projects with defined outcomes and regularly communicate to customers on the progress towards achieving measurable results
  • Proven track record with software implantation projects or have been a part of a significant portion of the delivery of software projects.
  • You want to know how processes work and when they don’t, strive to solve the problem to find out why it does not work and to fix the problem.
  • You have hands-on software development experience in coding (.NET, Python) or databases.
  • You are a problem solver, taking a logical route to the source of an error with a passion for working as a team by sharing ideas and resources with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • You understand workflow-based logic and have an aptitude to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution.
  • An ability to work in ambiguous and evolving environments.
  • Understand when the situation calls for mentoring a customer versus doing the work yourself.
  • You are completely comfortable juggling multiple competing priorities in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
  • Work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind
  • You have excellent communication and writing skills with high attention to detail having been described as a gifted presenter who captivates multi-discipline audiences.
  • You look at avenues to make the team better, through upskilling or improved processes, or project lessons learned.
  • Identify and escalate issues internally and with customers.
  • You have an understanding of all the foundations of the ROM and what that means to a customer and how it can help them scale and incorporate the Digital Workforce into their organization.
  • You have worked with and influenced cross-functional teams to drive successful customer outcomes.
  • Have a great attitude with the ability to foster a fun, productive working environment.
  • Upon return to office (mid to late 2021), the ability to travel 30-50% to our customer or partner sites nationally or sometimes internationally within your region.
