Reporting into the APAC President & General Manager, the ANZ Vice President provides not only sales and business development leadership, but is also responsible for the overall strategic approach and market development across the ANZ Region.

The successful candidate must be capable of thinking beyond quarterly results without sacrificing a sense of urgency. Likewise, he/she should be a sophisticated businessperson with a long-range view who also understands the need to aggressively penetrate the ANZ market through the creation of new business engaging with customers both directly and through Partners.

Your Responsibilities:

  • The VP ANZ primary focus is on achieving Revenue, Market Penetration and Customer Satisfaction goals for the company across the ANZ Region.
  • Direct management, development & execution of the company’s Sales strategy across the region via an established Partner/Alliance/Channel sales programme.
  • As the VP of ANZ, you will oversee the management all sales functions liaising with sales, pre sales and Customer success leadership.
  • To continue to build on the success and hyper-growth already being experienced across the region and take the business to the next level. You will help build a vision and strategy for the ANZ region to support the next stage(s) of aggressive sales growth whilst maintaining a world-beating team culture across the organization.
  • The successful executive will ideally have proven successful experience at growing enterprise software companies through hyper-growth across ANZ selling ‘with and through’ partners in an Indirect sales model that encompasses Audit & Advisory, Management Consultants, System Integrators, ISV’s, VAR’s and Technology Alliance partners.
  • Liaison between all functional groups and HQ management - ensuring that company standards and best practices are followed
  • “Owning the customer” – the Blue Prism model is highly customer-centric with ‘strategic adoption’ – upselling from initial investment – being a key part of our business model. As such the successful VP will be expected to be passionate about and personally support all aspects of customer success, across our ANZ customer base
  • Managing the model with direct responsibility for building out the sales team according to an agreed model comprising End User sales, Partner Management and Solution Consultants (pre-sales) to cover New Logo, Strategic Adoption and Renewal business – all via Strategic Partners
  • Ensuring forecast accuracy and linearity, managing pipeline & forecasting
  • Building a world class culture by ensuring we continue to hire the best talent in the market and provide mentorship and guidance across the entire organisation.
  • Working with the extended APAP Leadership and Sales Operations team to segment the ANZ market and look for specific opportunities to win ‘’net new’’ accounts, ensure customer retention and success, as well as look at new geographies to expand into.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Management and efficient utilisation of the personnel in the Sales operations. This responsibility includes motivating individuals, fostering their career development and training to enhance their skills to ensure that they achieve their potential within Blue Prism.
  • Building upon the existing teams already in place to continue fostering the Blue Prism culture – professionalism, Integrity and teamwork are critical to remain ‘trusted partners’ internally as well as externally.
  • Regular and timely forecasting & analysis together with regular revised Business Planning based on continued success for even greater growth – future revenue targets, budgets and resource planning for broader ANZ Sales coverage.

Your Experience:

  • Proven (min. 5 years) success in running ANZ businesses successfully and scaling operations across the ANZ region.
  • Proven experience of growing and managing a rapidly expanding team through hyper-growth within/across ANZ.
  • Charismatic leader with a strong point of view across all aspects of the business including sales processes, Customer & Partner mapping/segmentation and methodologies ‘to win vs compete’.
  • Understand and exemplify Blue Prism’s customer success first and people first mantra that we have built our culture around.
  • Successful track record in coordinating sales efforts across the region.
  • Has a passion for understanding customer needs and providing feedback to the central management team including product/product marketing to further the company’s position and win more satisfied customers in the region.
  • Proven experience of accurate and timely ANZ revenue forecasting & planning especially personal ownership of the les pipeline, forecasting regional sales revenues through accurate management of the ANZ Sales team
  • Being able to build successful foundations and then take the organisation too the next level through the recruitment of outstanding sales and business development talent.
