Blue Prism Appoints Robert Ekstrom As Vice President EMEA DACH & North Regions

Munich, October 7, 2019 — Since the beginning of September 2019, Blue Prism, the leading supplier of robotic process automation (RPA), has received support for its EMEA business from Robert Ekstrom, the new Vice President EMEA DACH and North.

The native Swede has set himself the goal of further driving Blue Prism's growth in the DACH region and expanding its customer base. He is also in charge of supporting existing customers and the partner network. Robert Ekstrom draws on his many years of experience in various management positions at IT companies. For example, he supported the introduction of cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions from software provider ServiceNow to the EMEA market. As CEO of JonDeTech Sensor AB, he supported the development and manufacture of innovative infrared sensors for more than two years and performed a listing of the company at Nasdaq in Stockholm in May 2018.

"My goal is to establish Blue Prism as the clear market leader for RPA solutions in the DACH market. I want even more companies to learn about the benefits of the technology and free their employees from repetitive routine tasks," says Ekstrom.

The two-time family father and outdoor sportsman is excited about the opportunity he has at Blue Prism to show companies the optimization opportunities that arise from the use of robotic process automation. In addition to the business success of RPA, he also focuses on the fact that automation technology helps to free employees from annoying routine tasks. This enables them to concentrate on higher-value activities that also contribute to their satisfaction.
