1,000+ EY professionals to be RPA certified across the globe
EY today announced that Blue Prism, Inc., a leading robotic process automation (RPA) software company, has recognized EY with the highest accreditation to implement RPA for organizations at scale and speed.
To achieve the certification, EY met Blue Prism’s rigorous requirements to demonstrate the highest levels of training and service to help clients transform their organizations by putting employees and customers at the center. EY member firms will certify more than 1,000 of our people across the globe on Blue Prism technology to help organizations implement the automation most effectively.
Jeff Wong, EY Global Chief Innovation Officer, says:
“This recognition demonstrates EY’s commitment to teaming with leaders in disruptive technologies, such as Blue Prism, to provide high-impact, transformative services to our clients. Working with Blue Prism in the future, we will continue to help organizations achieve efficiency cost savings. In fact, we’ve already seen some organizations achieve up to 30% with RPA. By leveraging technologies such as RPA, organizations will also be able to identify new opportunities, to meet the rapid pace of change and provide significant competitive advantages.”
By combining Blue Prism’s automation technology with EY’s RPA service experience and organizational skills across industries, companies can achieve efficiency cost savings across back- and front-office operations, as well as enterprise functions such as finance, HR, supply chain, IT and sales/marketing. In addition, RPA can help organizations deliver increased accuracy, reliability and consistent performance for repetitive tasks, giving employees more time to apply strategic thinking and allowing for more engaging and satisfying work.
Norman Lonergan, EY Global Vice Chair – Advisory, says:
“Organizations today are grappling with an increasing number of routine, repetitive tasks that occupy a significant portion of employees’ time. EY member firms are addressing how industries are implementing RPA technologies, and how to create a more ’human‘ experience in an environment where work is increasingly automated.”
EY has provided more than 100 projects for 70 clients in 25 countries, bringing RPA and digital transformation to enterprises across the globe in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, telecommunications, consumer products, banking and insurance sectors.
Alastair Bathgate, CEO, Blue Prism, says:
“EY has laid out a strategic vision in the way it sees how RPA can help unleash the potential of the global workforce and help businesses identify new opportunities, expanding the conversation from IT to the boardroom. As the demand for automation continues to grow exponentially, we envision Blue Prism RPA as a key platform for delivering cognitive and digital transformation technologies. We look forward to working together to help organizations realize the productivity and business benefits of a digital workforce.”
