Thanks so much to everyone who attended Blue Prism World Virtual 2020! We couldn’t have hoped for a better response to our first ever fully online conference, and it’s been a real pleasure to welcome you all to our virtual event space.
In total we’ve had 3,761 people log in to the online conference hall over the course of June 23 and 24! It’s been immensely gratifying to see so many Blue Prism customers and partners taking the chance to meet up in the virtual space and make the most of this opportunity to dive deeper into the future of robotic process automation (RPA) and Intelligent Automation.
Keynotes that outline the future of RPA
Putting a Digital Workforce at the heart of your enterprise is the core ethos behind Blue Prism in 2020, and this was something that was reinforced by Pat Geary, our Chief Evangelist, in his opening welcome session on Day One of the conference. As Pat said in his keynote:
“At Blue Prism, we’re finding new ways of how to do business, providing a Digital Workforce for every enterprise. And it’s the Blue Prism community we’ve created that I’m most proud of.”
Connected-RPA and Intelligent Automation are playing pivotal roles in helping to change the workplace, with automation and its associated technologies helping to streamline every organization’s processes and procedures – and creating real business value as a consequence.
As our Chairman and CEO, Jason Kingdom, pointed out in his virtual keynote session, we’re at an extremely exciting time for the technology sector:
“We’re delivering some of the most exciting technology on the planet, allowing enterprises to imagine and then create success. We have 1,800 customers globally in 170 countries, and work in 70 different industries with 330+ Blue Prism Partners. We bring our customers a hyper-connected enterprise resource, that’s smart, scalable, secure and successful.”
Live and on-demand virtual sessions
Over the course of the Blue Prism World Virtual event, attendees will have had access to over 50 different keynote and customer track sessions. And that access to RPA learning, insight and advice is what has always made our Blue Prism community events so valuable.
‘Learn, Connect and Innovate’ is the maxim behind the show, and it’s been incredible to see our live sessions being so well attended via the virtual event space. Attendees have been able to browse the agenda, plan out their virtual sessions and dive into thought leadership and automation insights from the cream of the Blue Prism ecosystem.
And, don’t worry if you couldn’t attend on the day. We also have an ‘On-demand Sessions’ section where you can access a range of sessions and content – all aimed at keeping you and your organization at the leading edge of automation and digital transformation.
A packed Partner Village
The Partner Village was a very popular destination for our attendees, with 33 different sponsors crammed into our virtual exhibition space.
Our Diamond Sponsors – Accenture/Avanade, Deloitte and EY – took pride of place in the Partner Village virtual space, bringing their professional services and consulting expertise to everyone visiting their virtual exhibition stands.
And with our Platinum and Gold sponsors packing out the Partner Village too, there really was a massive choice of different Blue Prism Partners to network and chat with. With product demos, video content and chat functionality on all stands, it was just like being at the real Blue Prism World (but without the sore feet from walking around a huge exhibit hall all day, of course).
We’d also like to congratulate all the winners of our Partner Awards. The winners were announced at part of our Partner Forum on Day Two, and showcase just how far we’ve grown as an automation ecosystem over the preceding 12 months.
Congratulations to our competition winners
Virtual attendees were awarded points on our Leaderboard for every visit to a new session or event location during the course of the conference – and we were extremely impressed at how many sessions many of you managed to cram in. Congrats to our winner of the Leaderboard Challenge, who won a brand new iPad Pro, with Bose headphones for our runners up. Well done to you all!
Our ‘Scavenger Hunt’ was also a big success, with many of you searching around the virtual event space to find the hidden icons secreted around the conference. Well done to the winner, who found all of the hidden icons and won a prize of £50 or equivalent in Amazon vouchers.
And we'd also like to congratulate the winners of our hands-on team challenge sessions:
- Login Agent Challenge Winner: Team FourNxt
- Automation Reviewer Challenge Winner: Team Symphony Warriors from Symphony
- Asset Migration Challenge Winner: The Bug Warriors from UniteBT
- Surface Automation Gaming Challenge Winners: Futonomers from Symphony
See you in person in 2021?
2020 and the impact of COVID-19 has had a profound impact on the business world – and our thoughts are with everyone who’s been affected by this terrible pandemic.
But out of adversity comes innovation, and we can already see a renewed interest in automation, cloud technology, remote working and greater flexibility in the workplace as a result of the challenges we’ve faced during the pandemic.
We hope to be able to run our usual real-world Blue Prism World conference in 2021, so keep your eyes peeled for announcements of our event plans for the coming year.
Until then, we would like to thank everyone who’s been involved in the planning, running and attendance of Blue Prism World Virtual 2020. We hope that everyone came away from our virtual conference with a renewed vigor and enthusiasm for the underlying power and business value that Blue Prism brings to the market.
We’ll see you all again at our next community event!
